About AMSI
When you arrive at AMSI, your first goal should be to integrate yourself as fast as possible! You're the new one, you have to adapt yourself to this new environment; thus, never hesitate to go to people for instance when you see somebody you didn't meet yet, go to this person and shake your hands and introduce yourself! That's so nice and I think they like that! Be smiling and nice! Once you've done that, you'll have to work with Jerome (my FRIEND!!) and Dia who'll tell you to ask questions and at that moment, you have to show them you're willing to learn AND to work hard!! If you want to remain in the memory of the company, try and create something new for them!! Even though they'll tell you they don't pay attention to that, try to always be smart i.e. pay attention to your clothes (suit for instance) because to be a good intern, you have to act like a professional and don't forget that you're reflecting the values of the company!!

My duties at AMSI:
As well as the other interns, I stamped postcards and updated our properties on Craigslist (Furnished & Unfurnished), MetroRent, Rental Guide... But I also did a great project which was the creation of a step-by-step manual on "On-site.com". I had to call my contact at this website so that they trained me by phone; after that I made a step-by-step manual for the agents and I planned a meeting with them in the conference room to train them on this website! I loved this project because I interacted with the managers (Dia, Kim, Robb and Nathan) and with the agents; I was very proud to teach them something! Then, I made another manual for the intern on Rental Guide. Finally I gave myself a project, which is the creation of a "Feedback Survey", the green paper you can find in all the packages they give to lessees and lessors. I hope this project works out well. I also went to networking events (SFCC, Fort Mason, ...) and that was a GREAT experience, I LOVED THAT!!! This was to opportunity for me to meet with professionals and introduce them our company and exchange business cards and I LOVED THAT!

About San Francisco:
San Francisco is just an amazing city, you're very lucky to be here!!! If you have problems to find an apartment, go to www.craigslist.org and if you here without any place to live in, you can fist go to the Kenmore Hotel ($230/week breakfast + dinner included). You have to see China Town and Japan Town, go to Union Square and have a great Cheesecake at The CheeseCake Factory on the top of Macy's. If you like very touristic places, go to Fisherman's Wharf, there're so many things to do over there!!! Don't forget to go the Ghirardelli's where they give you free chocolate squares... There's a lovely place I love in San Francisco, this is the Golden Gate Park... I can't describe it, you have to live this!! And for those of you who are at AMSI in May, I wish you to take part to Bay to Breakers!!!!!!!! YAY!!!

I'm now doing a Master's Degree in what is the French equivalent of Business Administration and I'm looking for an internship in Marketing, Management or negotiation in China. Next year I hope to find another internship in Spain or Mexico and then I hope I'll be a good money maker but where? No limits!! I'm ready to work anywhere in the World!! AMSI Internship program is really good because it will give you an invaluable experience. You're very lucky to work in the company so, show them you're worth it!! work hard for AMSI and enjoy this special opportunity.
